1. UPCOMING PERFORMANCES

March is the month of Little Red Ridinghood! We will be performing the show in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and New Jersey! On March 15th, come watch the show at the Saugus Senior Center in Saugus, MA. The show is scheduled for 2:00pm and there is a coloring contest to win front row seats! For more information or to reserve tickets, please call the Center at

Then on March 21st, Kaleidoscope will be performing "Little Red" at the Kelsey Theatre in West Windsor, NJ. Show times are 2:00 and 4:00pm. Please call (609) 570-3333 for more information!

To finish out the month, we will also be performing "Little Red" at the Rhode Island Home Show on March 29th at 12:00pm and 3:00pm. Cinderella and Snow White will also be making special guest appearances! Stay tuned for more details!

Looking ahead, Kaleidoscope will be performing “Goldilocks” and “The Frog Prince” at various venues in April and May. Check out our website,

2. CONGRATULATIONS, TAYLOR!

Taylor Mitchell (who originated the role of Peter in our 2000 production of “Heidi”) is returning to Providence as part of a national tour! Taylor can be seen in “The Wizard of Oz” when it arrives at the Providence Performing Arts Center on February 27th. This production runs through March 1st. For more

3. CONGRATULATIONS, LISA!

Also returning to Providence on tour is our own Lisa Hufnagel! Over the years, Lisa has played numerous roles for Kaleidoscope.  Most recently in 2006-7, Lisa played Disgustia in “Cinderella”, Beauty in “Beauty & the Beast”, and Arielle in “Sleeping Beauty”. On March 5th, Lisa can be seen as the lead role in “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day” at the VMA Arts and Cultural Center, presented at 10:00am by TheatreWorks USA. 4. SUPPORTING OUR MEMBERS
 

While we like to highlight our alumni on national tour, we also like to support our members’ contributions to the local theatre scene! We hope you’ll support them too!

    A. Sandy Cerel (Mrs. Johnson in "BULLY") is directing "The Cemetery Club" at the Newport Playhouse. The show runs February 11 - March 8, 2009. Then, her production of “Over the River” will be revived on the same stage from March 13 to April 9. For more information, go to

    B. Rebekah Philip (Little Red in “Little Red Ridinghood” and Doc in “Snow White”) will be in the children’s ensemble of “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” for six shows at the Providence Performing Arts Center starting on March 19th and ending on the 22nd!

    C. James Lambert (Hank/Jake in "BULLY") can be seen in the Courthouse Center for the Arts production of “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” (a Rhode Island Premiere) running March 13 to March 28. Please call (401) 782-1018 for ticket information.


     D. Also keep in mind that Siara Padilla (Ralph in “The Three Pigs”) is still on tour as Tessie in “Annie!” The show is currently in Canada!
